It’s March. That means I’m thinking about getting sandals out and then it snows three inches unexpectedly.
Here I am folding laundry:
We went to Cedar for a family event and had a bit of a vacation together. It was the last weekend we had to say goodbye to each other, since Dillon now just lives at home. We went to an art museum:
And to a state park museum:
And we spent lots of time with family:
Dillon had his last day as manager at Dead Horse Point State Park. It was a fun adventure for a while, but I’m glad we’re on to something new. Living there was very remote and I am glad we now just live in a rural town instead of out in the middle of nowhere. And I’m very glad that we live together. We’re going to have to figure out how we do things, but I’m excited to figure it out.
Here are the kids building Legos:
They are all doing well. MM is doing swim team. BB is doing soccer. SR has done baseball. EE does dance with her preschool. I love that they can have their activities to do, though a lot of their time is spent playing at home, with toys and outside. I want to help build a good environment for them. I think that’s one of the most important things I can do as a mother.
And finally, I made a cake that wasn’t a disaster. Improvement is possible!
