We gave my mother-in-law some flowers and a packet or two of flower seeds. The seeds grew. And grew. All of the taller flowers are from the seeds. The kids loved painting. And here is some other things.
Sometimes I take photos on my phone and they sit there for a while.
My sister came and visited with us. We had a water balloon fight and we went on a full moon hike. And we visited Canyonlands. Here are some pictures. Life is fun.
This was sort of the third day of school, but the first two days didn't go so well, so this was the first good day of school. Homeschooling is odd sometimes, since you can do what you want, but we try to have some structure. I didn't think I would be homeschooling again. The kids… Continue reading First Day of School
Day 2 of our trip was quite exciting. We drove from Black Canyon to Ouray, Colorado, a town that I had visited with my mom eleven years ago. Summer is about tree houses. And exploring. Parks and toys. Movies. Lots of movies. Naps. Biking. Hiking. Hanging out at swim lessons. More napping. More swim lessons. Birthdays and presents. More swim lessons. Swim lessons aren't fun when you aren't swimming. Basketball. More hiking. Lemonade stands. Forts. And bedtime.

There was a carnival with Spider-Man, and little EE absolutely loved to see Spider-Man. They had lots of other activities… Continue reading Extended Stay
